OK folks the RE0870 filter from K&N will fit with some slight mods to it. I purchased it locally for $43.99. The only thing about this filter is that the outlet or side that you will attach to the mass air sensor, has to be trimmed down with a razor blade about 3/4 of an inch. When you remove that the inner diameter will then be about 3 7/8 inches. So you will want to take the razor blade and chamfer the inside edge of the filter so it will help ypu to stretch it onto the MAF. You will probably want to remove the MAF from the vehicle to help in the installation of the filter because you have to get most of it started then use a screwdriver to shoehorn it on the rest of the way. Fits right in there! And looks the part. It doesn't hurt to use a little lube inside the filter outlet to make installation easier! Way easier that is! You can hear a difference with the hood up. Again remember that with the hood closed these cars are well insulated in the airbox area so it is loudest from the front. Not to worry the competition won't get a chance to enjoy it that way!
