Note 1: Reprogram or update the calibration. Check for other DTCs or drive symptoms for further action.
Make sure to check for aftermarket performance products before installing a new PCM. If it is necessary to install a
new PCM, refer to Section 2, Flash Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) , Programming
the VID Block for a Replacement PCM.
Note 2: DTC P1000 is ignored in the key on engine off (KOEO) and key on engine running (KOER) self-tests.
Disregard DTC P1000 and continue as directed.
